I was the Paprika Creator's Unit Facilitator for the 16/17 season. I led weekly creation sessions for a group of selected emerging artists. We were invited to create an immersive theatre experience for CSI's Toronto For Everyone's An Honest Farewell Festival. We activated a found space in Honest Ed's as part of the Public Exhibition which enjoyed sold out performances.

The Creator's Unit went on to create another work entitled Sleepless Nights which premiered at the Paprika Festival and was remounted at the Toronto Fringe.

You Can't Leave the Way You Came In is a journey into the surprising mysteries of things forgotten and things remembered. Follow your curiosity into back hallways to discover lost memories hidden in plain view. Imagined by Toronto's next generation of multidisciplinary creators, The Paprika Creator's Unit is the brain child behind this alternate universe.

In August 2016, I co-facilitated a 10 day Theatre and Arts Intensive with Sharada Eswar. Working with youth ages 15-22 we shared storytelling techniques, performances tools, shadow puppetry and music. Guest Artists Nova Bhattacharya and Sheniz Janmohamed joined us in-studio to teach Classical Indian Bharatanatyam and Spoken Word Poetry. The program culminated in two public presentations of work that the youth created collectively.

In Fall 2014, I was invited as a movement specialist and choreographer to work with opera students at the Schulich School of Music at McGill University. I taught a movement/physical theatre workshop with graduate and undergraduate students, helping them to explore the fundamentals of movement for actors. For the next few days, we applied the principles learned in the workshop to create movement for their characters in Pygmalion. Working with director Aria Umezawa, I choreographed several movement sequences found throughout the opera.

In July 2014, I was an Artist Guide at the Children's Peace Theatre. Over a 3 week summer camp, I led theatre for children and youth ages 8-14. I facilitated the creation of original scenes and helped youth to find greater confidence in themselves. I worked to empower them through the collaborative creation of a scene which was featured in the 14th Annual Summer Gala Event: White Noise.

I had the pleasure of teaching fitness at both the flagship Barreworks studio on Queen West and the Yonge+Eglinton studio. Barreworks has been voted Toronto's Best Workout Studio FOUR times by Now Magazine Reader's Choice. I taught Mixed Level, Openbarre, bAAArre, Express and BarreBasics. I am Barreworks and Canfit Pro certified and love sharing the joy of movement with my clients! I have led dynamic group classes with a focus on alignment and integration for people of all ages.
